Now Manitoba Metis Federation head David Chartrand is accusing the police of displaying “Quick Draw McGraw behaviour“, as if that even makes any sense.
I’m repeating myself from yesterday, but wait for the investigation to be completed, wait for the umpteen reviews to be conducted, and then make your public pronouncements. To make blatant claims of racism and accuse the cops of being trigger-happy based on NOTHING is just taking advantage of the situation to score points with your constituency.
In other words, could whoever is the Baba Looey over at the MMF tell Dave to shut up for the time being, or at least hit him in the head with a guitar.

Tase him
I was planting trees by the Seine River today with the head of another Metis organization today. As fiddle music played and some ladies danced I talked to him over my shovel. He has said “no comment” to local media this week and he more or less said the same to me. Like all of he wants to know more before making a judgement. If only David Chartrand had done the same.
Good God, David – you think people should wait to get the facts before they rush to push a particular theory?
Wow. I guess everyone’s entitled to a change of heart sometime.

Have you “cooled off” enough to start your own Blog yet? Steve-O is still in Halifax so there is an opening
Sorry, I’m too busy trying to live up to the BMOC reputation you’ve given me to tumble down into permanent blogdom quite yet. But maybe all of the recent City Hall alumni could start a blog together soon … We could call it “Upper Fort Garry and Beyond,” “Apologetic Winnipegger,” or, most likely, “Policy Bog.”
Write next time you decide to post something that weaves me in somehow, will you? The worst that could happen is I’d deny it.

I would prefer “Kids (Not) In The Hall.”
Friends of Sam’s Club? Or has Walmart already copyrighted that?
Blogging doesn’t seem to pay any utility bills. Your instincts are probably right. When you want to be BMOC again let me know. (And I will need a web ready pic.)
“Kids (Not) In The Hall”
Seconded. Too funny not to used by a babble of Bloggers.
